New Mills Golf Club

New Mills Golf club invite you to their Open Day on April 15th which will run from 10am to 4pm. However, the day isn’t just for Dad’s as there’s loads for Mum and all the children too!

The event is an opportunity for all the family who might have thought about trying golf as a pastime to come along, have fun and try different aspects of the game as well as giving the opportunity to established players to come and try the course free of charge.

There will be competitions for putting, chipping, nearest the pin and the longest drive all with special prizes. You don’t need your own clubs or balls for these competitions as these will be provided on the day.

Our Juniors are hosting a Wii golf competition whilst there will be a bbq and ice creams on sale at half way house.

Our professional, Carl will be offering  free 15 minute golf lessons for small groups  as well as giving vouchers for free taster sessions those not able to have the taster lesson on the day.

Established players who might be looking at joining the club, or simply playing the course, can have a complimentary nine-hole round with up to three other players. Players taking advantage of this offer should bring their own clubs and golf shoes. To reserve a tee time from 8am onwards call Carl on 01663 743483. If you are on your own or would like a bit of ‘local knowledge’, members of New Mills Golf Club will be available throughout the day to play alongside you.

In addition to the golf activities there will be a tombola whilst everyone who registers their attendance will be automatically entered into a special draw to win 3 months free membership enabling them to play for free throughout the week and bring along friends for a greatly reduced green fee.
