IntroductionNew Mills Business Network began in October 2006 as an initiative developed by New Mills School Business and Enterprise College. The aim was to enhance the school specialism in Business and Enterprise by establishing more connections with the local business community and developing relationships between the local community and the school. The initiative has been highly successful and the group now has more than 60 business connections within the database.
No feesThe Network is completely free of charge. No joining fees to pay, no charge for refreshments – New Mills School Business and Enterprise College supports the resources for the group.
MeetingsThe meetings are monthly and currently we aim for the third Tuesday in each month. The meetings start at 0730am and finish around 0900am. Bacon/egg sandwiches, tea/coffee is available throughout the meeting.
There is plenty of opportunity for networking and developing new contacts and there is a presentation by a guest speaker which tends to last 20 minutes or so.
